Aqua Sun International's Mobile, Solar Powered Water Purification System with daily water production of 5 gpm and up to 1000 gallons of purified drinking water per day by using a Carbon Filtration and Ultraviolet Light Disinfecting Process. Portable, Water Purification System

The Aqua Sun PWP - 10 Systems have the capabilities of Water Purification Production Flow Rates from as low as 5 gallons per minute and up to 15 gallons / 55 litres per minute or more with a 0.5 Micron Carbon Block Filter Life Expectancy of up to 150,000 gallons / 555,000 litres. All that is required is a Water Pump.

These Water Purification Systems come in Four Filter Housings Models:

• 1  Filter Housing - Ultraviolet Lamp only.

• 2 Filter Housings -  0.5 Micron Carbon Block Filter & UV.

• 3  Filter Housings - Sediment Filter, Carbon Block Filter & UV.

Cleaner and Safer Drinking Water

Aqua Sun manufactures a wide range of Portable, and Stationary Solar Powered Water Purification Systems that have the capabilities of producing up to 15 gallons / 55 litres. per minute and 10,000 gallons / 37,000 litres. or more per day of cleaner, and safer drinking water from most any creek, stream, pond, well, lake or most any water source other than salt water.

These systems are ideal for Remote, Small Villages and Towns of the World where water purification and electrical power are unattainable or impracticable. These systems come Solar Phtovoltaic Electrically Powered for areas without electrical power, or they can adapt to the wide range of different electrical powered voltages around the World. They come in a variety of different types of Portable Systems that are light enough in weight to be manually carried to almost any situation or designed to be trailer mounted and transported behind a vehicle. Our Stationary Units can be a wall mount system with the solar panels installed in most any convenient location.

All of Aqua Sun Systems use a Filtration Process that has the capabilities of removing Giardia Lambda, Cyst, Pesticides, certain VOC's, THM's, Bad Taste, Odours, Colour and many other Harmful Chemical Contaminants down to a 0.5 Micron. The Polished Filtered Water is then channelled past an Ultraviolet Light Disinfecting Process that kills the Bacteria, Virus, Typhoid Fever, Dysentery, Cholera, Infectious Jaundice, Hepatitis, Influenza Virus, E-Coli, Enteric Fever and many other unwanted Micro-organisms to 99.9% Purity.

Aqua Sun combines High Capacity Filtration and Ultraviolet Disinfecting into 2 "TWO" different sized systems whose only difference is Gallons / Litres. per Minute and Filter Life Expectancy

Model PWP-C

Solar or 12-Volt DC Powered
Water Purification System

The Aqua Sun Model PWP-C is a self-contained, solar or 12-Volt DC powered, water purification system designed for portability, ease of use, and durability. Using the best filtration technology available, it produces safe drinking water from most fresh water sources such as rivers, ponds, wells, and lakes. It can be unpacked and operational in less than one minute and can produce up to 100 gallons (400 Litres.) a day of safe, clean water in the solar mode or 60 gallons (240 Litres.) per hour in the 12 volt DC mode. The Model PWP-C can operate from the supplied photovoltaic panel or from any 12 volt DC power source and requires no chemical additives.

The purification process starts with a sediment filter to clean the water and remove any suspended debris. The water is then sent through a 0.5 micron carbon block filter. This filter cartridge is an excellent water "polishing" filter. It is capable of removing Giardia Lambda, Cyst, Cryptosporidium, bad taste, odours, colour, chlorine, THMs (trihalomethanes), certain VOCs (volatile organic compounds), pesticides and many other harmful chemical contaminates. The filtered, "polished" water is then channelled past a ultraviolet light. The ultraviolet light kills bacteria and viruses that can cause diseases such as Typhoid Fever, Dysentery, Cholera, Infectious Jaundice, Hepatitis, Influenza, and Enteric Fever. This process can kill these and many other micro-organisms to a 99.9% kill rate. When this combination of filtration and UV disinfection is used together, clean, safe drinking water can be produced from unpotable water.

Model PWP-C uses a dual power source:

• Solar Power is generated by a marine grade, photovoltaic panel that can be attached to the lid of the case for charging purposes or stored inside for travelling and shipping. The solar panel needs 4 to 8 hours of sunlight per day to maintain the system's battery, which powers the pump and ultraviolet light. A 60 minute timer is used to turn on the system. The battery charge is constantly monitored to prevent excessive draining of the battery.

• 12-Volt DC Power can be obtained from many sources, such as a vehicle battery or DC generator. A cigarette lighter plug and battery cable connectors are provided for a direct connection to most power sources. When operating under DC power, the system can operate at 60 gallons(240 Litres.) per hour for extended periods of time.

The system is housed in a durable, space age, lightweight structural plastic carrying case. It is water and air tight for maximum protection of the internal parts. This briefcase style case meets and exceeds the highest standards for industrial, airline, military and commercial applications. It is portable enough to be carried anywhere in the world. It is approved for air shipments inside and outside the continental United States.

Stationary Solar Powered
Water Purification System

These units can be mounted to buildings, water tanks, trucks, boats, tanks, or any other vehicle that needs to provide safe, clean drinking water to personal anywhere it travels. The systems can be powered by solar panels, or from a 12-Volt DC power source such as a vehicle battery.

Model SWP-S1E is solar powered and uses a self-priming pump to pull water from the available water source. Produces 1 gallon per minute, (up to 100 gallons per day) of clean, safe, purified drinking water. The system also provides two 12-Volt DC outlets, plus a low voltage Halogen light.

Special Designs

Stationary, wall mount systems are available in larger water production capabilities of 8, 15, 30, 45, and 60 gallons per minute. The larger production systems require their own, independent water pumping units. The pumps come in a variety of production volumes, and are available as non-submersible/surface mount, or submersible DC pumps. They have a pumping capacity of 100 to 15,000 gallons of per day from wells as deep as 500 feet. All these systems receive their electrical power by solar photovoltaic electrical producing panel arrays. The pumps are wired directly to the solar photovoltaic electrical producing panels, which eliminates the need for batteries. Increasing the size of the solar arrays increases the volume of water production. These systems have no moving parts, other than the pump, which mean very little if any required maintenance on the entire system.

Large solar powered water purification systems can also be manufactured as portable, trailer mount, or stationary ground mount systems. They could produce up to 15,000 gallons of water per day for small villages and towns around the world. Trailer mounted systems could be easily transported into areas where large groups of people may be gathering, for planned events, rescue operations, or disaster relief.

Model SWP-2E

Product Overview

With the Aqua Sun Water Purification Systems, you can go anywhere in the World and produce potable drinking water from almost any fresh water source, such as a creek, stream, pond, well, or lake. These systems are completely stand alone units that can be placed anywhere existing water purification or electrical power is not available.

For these systems to be remote, stand alone water purification systems, they need the ability to adapt to any power source anywhere in the World. The Aqua Sun Systems can operate from existing 12 Volt DC systems, such as automobile batteries, or generators, or from an attached Photovoltaic, Solar Electrical Panel.

The Photovoltaic, Solar Panels allow the systems to produce and store their own electrical power which makes them a truly stand alone, self-contained unit, that can be transported anywhere in the World.
